Important Announcement
The Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS) for the 2020/21 academic year is now open for online application.  Please take note of the respective application deadlines of the ENLS and submit your ENLS application and necessary supporting documents in time.  All the incomplete applications for the ENLS for the 2020/21 academic year will be kept until 31 July 2021 and will be deleted automatically after the said date.
Application for the Tertiary Student Finance Scheme – Publicly-funded Programmes (TSFS)Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP)Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Full-time Tertiary Students (NLSFT) and Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS) for the 2020/21 academic year via “SFO E-link – My Applications” has ceased.  All the incomplete applications have been removed from this system.
To verify whether the financial assistance funded by public monies has been granted to students with genuine financial needs, the Student Finance Office (SFO) under the Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency will select some successful cases of the TSFS and the FASP each year for authentication to check if there has been any omission or misrepresentation of information reported by the applicants and their parents/spouses in the applications.  In addition to the existing means such as conducting home visits, the SFO will conduct bank searches to make the authentication more effective.  For details, please click here.
