Step 2 - Loan Information (applicable to all institutions other than Hong Kong Metropolitan University)
Provide the details of the courses and the tuition fee to be covered by this loan application.
Input details of one course/semester/installment in each row only.
The maximum amount of loan you may borrow is the total tuition fee(s) payable in this academic year. The amount should not exceed an aggregate of 12 months’ tuition fee(s) payable and the life-time loan limit or its remaining balance.
If your tuition fee has to be paid by foreign currency, choose the correct "Currency Code". Currency codes include: Hong Kong Dollars – HKD, Australian Dollars – AUD, Sterling – GBP, US Dollars - USD.
Check the total loan amount. It must be equal to the sum of tuition fees and loans, and should not exceed your life-time loan limit or its remaining balance under the ENLS.
If you have paid all or part of tuition fee(s), the loan(s) equivalent to the tuition fee(s) paid will be reimbursed to you by direct credits to your bank account.
If you have not paid the tuition fee(s), the loan(s) will be paid to you by cheque(s) made payable to your institution or local agency for the institution, if applicable.
You may request for up to six cheques of a total of three different drawdown dates if all the instalments are payable by cheques. If one of the instalments is disbursed by reimbursement, you may request for up to five cheques.
The drawdown date will be arranged with you after your submission of complete set of loan documents.
If you have paid your tuition fee in foreign currency, your applied loan amount of the paid tuition fee must be calculated in HKD.
